Salary: Grade 1, £24,502 - £24,666 per annum pro rata . Approximately £7,838 - £7,890 per annum FTE)
Please note: This role is part-time working 15 Hours per week and term time only.
About us and the role
At Avanti Fields School, we believe every student deserves the guidance and opportunities to thrive in their chosen path.
We are looking for a Careers Administrator who can play a key role in supporting our pupils by organising careers events, maintaining records, and assisting with post-16 applications.
This role is a great opportunity to use your organisational and communication skills while directly supporting pupils as they prepare for their future.

Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith-designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. The school is rapidly expanding and will grow year by year to a full cohort of 1,320. This is an exciting time to join the school as it continues its journey to outstanding.

What will you do?
- Provide administrative support to the school's careers programme, including scheduling 1:1 sessions, coordinating guest speakers, and assisting with careers events.
- Support pupils during careers activities, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and positive environment.
- Assist with the administration of work experience placements, post-16 applications, and related financial processes.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, using systems such as PS-16, and carry out routine clerical and ICT tasks.
- Comply with safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection policies while contributing to the wider ethos and aims of the school.

What are we looking for?
- Experience of general clerical /administrative work
- Evidence of the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Effective use of ICT packages and keyboard skills
- Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and pay attention to detail
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
