Overview:
Edeta are currently looking to employ a Trainee Assessor to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting and assessing candidates within the Manufacturing, Machining or Asset Maintenance Engineering disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a current understanding of industry practices, training and support will be provided to gain the necessary knowledge on vocational qualifications and quality frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver guidance and support to candidates in compiling and presenting a comprehensive portfolio of evidence that adheres to the vocational qualification's performance criteria and evidence requirements.
Conduct fair, safe, and reliable assessments of candidates' skills and knowledge in their respective workplaces.
Maintain excellent communication and IT skills to effectively manage interactions and documentation.
Exhibit a strong passion for professional discipline, with an ability to work under tight deadlines and independently manage workload.
Inspire, encourage, and motivate candidates.
Participate actively as a member of the engineering assessment team, contributing to the continuous improvement of assessment processes and practices.
Essential Requirements:
Proven, relevant, and up-to-date hands on industry experience in Manufacturing/Machining/Fabrication Welding.

A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and skill development within the engineering field.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage personal workload.
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for frequent travel to client sites.
Qualifications:
A recognised Engineering apprenticeship and the willingness to work towards gaining Assessor/IV qualifications.
