Job Description:

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team for our client based in Amesbury.

The successful candidates will be responsible for store deliveries, for a major haulier, across their UK network.

We are looking for drivers available for day shifts and night shifts on a 4 on 4 off OR a 5 on 3 off (working rota). Start times vary days between and nights There is also the opportunity for as hoc work.

Drivers will use tail lifts to move roll cages from the trailer to store and will self tip. Additionally, there is the potential for a permanent position for those who are interested.

Pay Rate per shift, inclusive of holiday pay:

  • Days £190.52 Sat AM £212.93 Sun AM £218.54
  • Nights £212.93 Sat PM £235.35 Sun PM £240.95

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for transportation of goods.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
  • Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours and deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with planners and management.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
  • Previous experience - a minimum of 2 year's experience.
  • Strong understanding of road safety and regulations.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
  • 6 points or less.
