About the Role

We currently have one vacancy for a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Rochdale depot. The role is a long-term and secure contract, trunking palletised goods, on a 4 on 4 off contract, for one of the world's largest companies.

HGV Driver Benefits

HGV Driver Requirements

  • Preferably, 1 year class 1 driving experience
  • Availability to work PM start times (flexibility required)
  • Drug and alcohol check
  • Criminal background check
  • Valid HGV Class 1 licence (CE)
  • Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Valid Digital Tachograph

HGV Driver Responsibilities

  • Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver trailers to fulfilment centres.
  • Interact with colleagues and customers in a helpful and professional manner.
  • Complete daily maintenance checks on vehicles and trailers.
  • Maintain electronic logs to track routes and deliveries

Shift Patterns

  • PM start times.
  • 4 on 4 off, with overtime available.
  • Long-term and secure contract.
