We're keen to welcome an Operations Support Lead to join us at VetPartners.
Come be part of our transformational growth and a subject matter expert for your area of responsibility, which will include internal communications, amongst other operational fields. You will proactively champion continuous improvement within your area, have strong organisational skills for leading projects, whilst also managing a small team.
This role will suit someone who is looking at their next career growth for stepping into leading/managing a team, or may already have some experience to build on. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, plus awareness of daily operations in a business and some knowledge of the veterinary sector would also be an advantage.

What you'll be doing:
- Oversee management of the Operations Support responsible shared inboxes
- Be the first point of escalation for your areas of responsibility.
- Initiate communications to practices/businesses through both written and verbal channels
- Lead projects, coordinate resource availability, liaise with inter-departments/stakeholders where necessary and escalate identified issues or concerns that may be a risk to the success of a project completing, as a priority.
- Conducting monthly 1-2-1s and PDRs (alongside Operations Support Manager), identifying and providing development opportunities to team members, and delivering coaching and mentoring when and where required.
- Collating data and updating of spreadsheets for accurate tracking - reporting as necessary
- Attend and lead meetings with internal stakeholders and suppliers, plus providing suitable updates
- Experience of project work/management
- An understanding of veterinary services an advantage
- Must be a team player
- Approachable, pro-active, and driven
- Proven ability in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Confident communicator at all levels
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-changing reactive environment
- Willingness to 'muck in'
- Prioritising important tasks, amongst a varied workload, will be key to the role

- Based out our York Central Office with some degree of flexibility of hybrid working from home.
- Mon - Fri
- 37.5 hours per week
- Salary of £27,000
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
