Legal Secretary / Office Administrator - Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary / Office Administrator on behalf of a well-established Criminal Defence Solicitor Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual to join a reputable Legal Practice in a key support role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of high quality administrative and secretarial assistance to fee earners, with a particular emphasis on digital dictation. The position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of legal operations, including the preparation of legal documents and professional client communication.

Responsibilities

· Audio typing using digital dictation software

· Preparing legal documents, letters etc.

· Managing client data, opening files

· Handling incoming calls, taking accurate messages

· Liaising with clients taking in depth details

· Booking appointments and managing diaries

· Scanning, photocopying and archiving files

· Supporting colleagues and covering reception duties

Person Specification

· Prior experience as a Legal Secretary / Office Administrator ideally within the area of law preferred but not essential – full training will be provided

· High speed and accurate audio typing skills

· Confident using digital dictation systems and case management software

· Excellent organisational skills and multitasking skills

· Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £22,225.00 per year
