As we scale up our commercial outreach, we're looking for an enthusiastic Lead Generation Executive to help identify and qualify new opportunities to support our sales team.

Role Overview

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into B2B sales or marketing within the maritime tech sector. The successful candidate will help us build our sales pipeline by researching target accounts, initiating contact with key IT decision-makers, and booking qualified meetings for our sales team.

You'll play an important role in the early stages of our sales process and if successful, there's strong potential for this to become a longer-term position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify target companies and relevant decision-makers (e.g. CIOs, IT Managers) using a variety of data sources.
  • Clean and enrich CRM data to support segmentation and campaign planning
  • Carry out multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) using prepared messaging and templates
  • Qualify leads based on GTMaritime's criteria (fleet size, role, needs, readiness)
  • Book meetings for the sales team, capturing key context in the CRM
  • Track and report weekly outreach activity and meeting outcomes

·       Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and targeting based on responses

·       Assist in improving lead handover and follow-up processes

Skills & Experience

Essential:

·      Confident communicator, both written and verbal

·      Strong research skills and attention to detail

·      Comfortable using online tools such as LinkedIn, spreadsheets and basic CRM platforms

·      Motivated, organised and happy to work independently

·      Keen interest in B2B tech, communications or the maritime sector

Desirable:

·      Experience with customer-facing roles or outbound contact (sales, marketing, recruitment, events, etc.)

·      Familiarity with tools such as Pipedrive, or Sales Navigator

·      Understanding of basic sales pipeline stages or marketing funnels
