Join our team as a Recovery Worker in Truro.
Our Women's service in Cornwall is recruiting for a Recovery Worker to join them in providing high-quality recovery care to a diverse client group. Your office base will be in central Truro. As a Recovery Worker, we offer a starting salary of £25,000 per annum. The salary for this role is on an incremental scale and will rise each year in line with our pay progression salary bands, to £30,000 per annum. For further details please reach out to a member of the recruitment team via
Job OpportunityThis role has been designed to work specifically with women living across the county, with diverse and complex needs to engage in treatment around their substance use, healthy relationships and mental and emotional health.
This will be a trauma-informed service using an outreach model to ensure the flexibility needed to keep women engaged in treatment. There will be an emphasis on multi-agency working and networking to develop and provide sustainable pathways, supporting women to meet their goals.

We're looking for a compassionate and motivated individual, with an exceptional ability to build meaningful relationships. You will have demonstrable experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice or other specialist setting, or a clear motivation for wanting to work in the drug and alcohol sector. A successful track record of providing efficient and reliable customer service is essential.
You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.
- Have attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months
- Have demonstrable experience of working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist setting
- Successful track record of working or volunteering with people who have experienced substance misuse issues
- Have a driving license with access to a vehicle
- Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- Be able to work effectively in a team, supporting others when needed
- Be resilient under pressure and able to prioritise your work
- Have good oral and written communication skills
- Be IT competent
- Able to be flexible with your working hours on occasion
- Be happy to support other With You locations when needed
As part of this role, you will be required to work occasional Saturdays.
