Warehouse Operative / Reach Truck Driver

***Immediate start based initially at Wales 1 Business Park, Magor, NP26 3DG until early spring 2026 when we move to our brand new purpose built depot in Access 18, Avonmouth, BS11 8HT***

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts, guaranteed 42 hours per week with overtime available.

Start Time: 07:00 to 19:00

Hourly Rates: Days £14.24, nights £16.85, along with additional weekend premiums.

More about you

• Experience driving a reach truck is essential
• You have previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative
• You've assisted with the efficient and effective running of a warehouse operation, processing time critical loading and unloading of supplier consignments
• You'll ideally have experience of using a reach truck, electric pallet trucks of various sizes
• You're great working as part of a team

• Accurately carrying out time critical movements of products
• Effectively communicating with internal and external customers
• Working in line with our standard operating procedures
• Ensuring deadlines are met and KPI's are achieved and exceeded
• Ensuring unloading / loading accuracy is maintained at 100%
• Working in line with our health and safety processes
• Demonstrating clear and precise written communication
• General warehouse housekeeping
• Accurately processing customer returns and rejections
• Working in line with food safety standards
• Communicating with our Yard and Office colleagues via radio to ensure a timely operation
• Temperature checking and logging where required
