Scotscraig Golf Club, founded by members of the St Andrews Golf Society in 1817 and a six-time Open Championship Qualifying venue, has recently announced a landmark long-term partnership with The Ancient Links Golf Company, ensuring a bright and sustainable future for this iconic course.

This new agreement is built on a commitment to protect and enhance members' access to the course, develop the game of golf at all levels, and reinforce Scotscraig's role in the local community.

The club has gained significant investment and is redeveloping in all areas no more so than in the catering facilities. We want to build something at Scotscraig we can be proud of and create a business that provides great food and hospitality, and great employment opportunities, to the community all year round.

We are now looking to add to our team of waiting and bar staff already on board

Full job description

We aim to offer flexible terms and competitive salaries for both part-and full-time staff. We will offer training for the roles, and fund qualifications for those interested in taking their careers further.

Everyone will get training and, depending on role, an allowance to take and qualify for the SCPLH Personal Licence (SCQF Level 6).

You'll be ready to give great customer service and know, or be eager to learn, everything about food & drinks service and product knowledge.

A successful restaurant is only as good as the front-of-house team. Whatever your level of experience, if you think you can make our guests feel welcome and that nothing is too much bother, we'd love to meet you.

Each role will require applicants to:

  • · Ensure customers are continuously delighted with the service and offering at the Scotscraig Golf Club clubhouse
  • · Help build a reputation for excellence, friendliness and commitment to the community.
  • · Handle compliments and complaints with equal confidence.
  • · Be willing to learn our till and payment systems.
  • · Will you be able to reliably commute to Tayport, for this job?
