About The Team
Angi is looking to hire a highly passionate, data-driven and experienced product leader to manage, lead, grow, and mentor up to four product managers for customer facing teams in our marketplace. Our eight customer facing teams cover the full customer journey from acquisition, onboarding, responding, shortlisting, and hiring for tradespeople and homeowners. Customer Facing teams work alongside Enabling, Data and Platform teams.

You will work alongside other Directors, and Group Product Managers. As Product Director, you will mentor, coach and manage the Product Managers in your teams, and align with your peers and management. As a motivating leader, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of parts of our core marketplace.

This position requires a business mindset, metrics focus and a value driven approach. The ideal candidate combines marketplace experience with a consultative mindset and strong communication skills. You are used to partnering with product people and higher management alike in a fast-paced and team-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and grow a team of Product Managers and Senior PMs, providing clear goals, coaching, and feedback to ship high-quality products in our core marketplace.
  • Co-author, review, and evangelize strategic documents with your PMs to drive alignment and clarity.
  • Steward large, cross-team opportunities by setting an inspiring vision, sequencing work, and coordinating adjacent teams.
  • Align team roadmaps and product solutions to company strategy and OKRs, making trade-offs explicit.
  • Together with Engineering (Engineering Manager) and UX (UX Manager) peers, translate strategy into a concrete, prioritized roadmap and execute on it.
  • Partner with business, operations, and marketing to identify opportunities that grow revenue and improve customer experience.
  • Report and act on marketplace health metrics, including activation, conversion, retention, and liquidity.
  • Champion an evidence-based, experiment-driven culture across product discovery and delivery.
  • Represent your area in executive and cross-functional forums, communicating strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes clearly.
  • Drive innovation through AI and emerging technologies - from discovery and personalization to ops tooling and developer productivity.

Who You Are

  • Multi-year experience in product management for customer-facing products.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management.
  • 4+ years of experience leading and managing IC Product Managers across multiple teams.
  • Experience in two-sided marketplaces, ideally B2B2C, with a deep understanding of supply, demand, and liquidity dynamics.
  • Proven track record of delivering customer value that drives revenue.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to operate at multiple altitudes - from strategy to hands-on execution when needed.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment within a distributed, hybrid organisation.
  • Hands-on experience applying AI technologies in product discovery, customer experience, or internal tooling - and a strong habit of staying current with AI developments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical and organisational challenges.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to translate complex metrics and dynamics into clear, compelling narratives for executives and teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in English, written and oral, enabling effective collaboration in an asynchronous setup.
