Driver Roundsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver/Roundsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in delivering to various locations. This role requires excellent driving and communication skills.

Duties

• Operate various types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Servicing / cleaning of portable toilets on sites ensuring in good clean working condition before leaving, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Daily vehicle check before leaving in the morning to ensure in good working condition.
• Make any small repairs to toilets if required and completing attendance cards after each site service,
• Communicate effectively with and Hire Office if unable to service a toilet for any reason and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods at the yard or delivery site as required.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company during deliveries.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Required to work Bank Holidays and some weekends over the summer months.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
