Photographer

The Creative Studio team of RKW Ltd is now hiring for an experienced Photographer, to work on a range of imagery projects, across our award-winning portfolio of in-house brands.

Ideal applicants will have product-focused photography experience – from setup to re-touching, for both lifestyle and cut-out images.

Role Overview

As a key member of our in-house Design Studio, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, on-brand photography across our full product range. You'll work across multiple categories—from small kitchen appliances to outdoor living products—capturing both cut-out and lifestyle imagery that elevates our brands across packaging, online, and marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

Photography & Creative Production

• Deliver all studio photography requirements across RKW's portfolio of brands, including market leading brands such as Tower and Swan.

• Produce cut-out, lifestyle, and creative images supporting product launches across packaging, point of sale material and online content.

• Collaborate with the Food Stylist and Image Editing team to ensure all visuals meet required quality standards.

• Use Capture One and Adobe Photoshop for image capture, retouching, and workflow management.

• Maintain high creative standards while adhering to brand guidelines across all imagery.

Project & Workflow Management

• Maintain up-to-date job progress and schedules for visibility and tracking.

• Manage all project activity and communication using Trello (Design Studio project management system).

• Follow consistent file and folder naming conventions to ensure assets are easy to identify and retrieve.

• Coordinate with the Design Studio Admin for sample management (check-in/out and tracking).

• Ensure all creative output aligns with brand standards and project timelines.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work as part of the in-house Design Studio team, collaborating with Graphic Designers, Videographers, and Copywriters.

• Partner with the Image Editing team to maintain consistent quality throughout the image workflow.

• Liaise with Studio Management to ensure delivery against SLAs and quality targets.

• Engage with internal "clients," including Buying, Brand Directors, and Marketing, to deliver tailored photography solutions.

• Collaborate with external design agencies where required.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a studio photographer within a commercial or retail environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of studio lighting, composition, and digital workflow.

• Expertise in Capture One and Adobe Photoshop (retouching and colour correction).

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.

• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
