About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fundraising Officer to join our dynamic Fundraising and Communications team at a growing international development charity based in Bristol, delivering transformational change for some of the world's most vulnerable people, living on the frontlines of the climate crisis.

As part of a vibrant Individual Giving team, you'll deliver exciting fundraising campaigns to existing and new supporters through a variety of channels.

Main duties:

  • Supporter fundraising and marketing:
    Project manage and deliver IG campaigns and work closely with the Individuals Fundraising Manager to ensure the delivery of the IG work plan to raise unrestricted income from existing and new supporters.

  • Data and analysis to support fundraising:
    Provide data and analysis on fundraising campaigns to assist with planning and budget setting, plus researching of costs and income projections.

  • Supporter Care & donation processing:
    Ensure excellent delivery of Supporter Care for our donors, ensuring effective communication and stewardship, efficient reconciliation of donations, management of financial systems for donation processing and development of donations pages on the Tree Aid website.

About you:

As our Fundraising Officer you will be a passionate fundraiser, with excellent project management skills, and a creative, persuasive copywriting style. You'll be a team player with the ability to delegate effectively.

You will also bring the following knowledge, experience and skills:

  • A passion for fundraising and a results-oriented outlook with a proven track record of delivering against income targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent project management skills, deadline-driven and ability to delegate effectively.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Commitment to, and alignment with, Tree Aid's values (see below).
