Flexible Weekend Support Worker – Care Assistant Roles in Melksham
Pay: £15.00 – £22.00 per hour

What You'll Be Doing
As a Weekend Support Worker, you'll support older adults in their own homes across Melksham. Your role will include:
- Assisting clients with morning routines — washing, dressing, and preparing for the day
- Preparing breakfast or lunch and ensuring meals are enjoyed
- Supporting with medications and wellbeing checks
- Providing companionship and conversation to brighten someone's weekend
- Helping with light household tasks where needed
Every visit is unique. Some clients need practical support, while others simply enjoy a friendly face and a chat over a cup of tea.
What You'll Need
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car
- Availability to work every or alternate weekends
- A caring, friendly personality and good spoken English
- No previous care experience required — full training provided
What You'll Get
- £15.00 – £22.00 per hour (based on experience, training & seniority)
- Paid travel time & waiting time
- Mileage reimbursed at £0.45/mile
