What You'll Be Doing

As a Weekend Support Worker, you'll support older adults in their own homes across Melksham. Your role will include:

  • Assisting clients with morning routines — washing, dressing, and preparing for the day
  • Preparing breakfast or lunch and ensuring meals are enjoyed
  • Supporting with medications and wellbeing checks
  • Providing companionship and conversation to brighten someone's weekend
  • Helping with light household tasks where needed

Every visit is unique. Some clients need practical support, while others simply enjoy a friendly face and a chat over a cup of tea.

What You'll Need

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Availability to work every or alternate weekends
  • A caring, friendly personality and good spoken English
  • No previous care experience required — full training provided

What You'll Get

  • £15.00 – £22.00 per hour (based on experience, training & seniority)
