About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Product Manager with a
strong software engineering background
to lead the delivery of a key
dashboard service platform
within the
public sector
.

You'll work in a
fully agile environment
, acting as the bridge between engineering teams, business stakeholders, and end users. This role is perfect for someone who has
hands-on experience with legacy Microsoft-based systems
and enjoys modernising older technology stacks while maintaining reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a
    data dashboard platform
    , ensuring accuracy, usability, and technical robustness.
  • Translate business objectives into
    clear, prioritised user stories
    and manage the product backlog effectively.
  • Work closely with
    software engineers
    , understanding the technical detail behind decisions and trade-offs.
  • Drive
    modernisation initiatives
    across legacy systems, improving stability, integration, and performance.
  • Promote
    agile principles
    and foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Balance
    stakeholder expectations
    with technical constraints and system capabilities.
  • Use
    data insights and metrics
    to support product decisions and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven track record as a Technical Product Manager or
    Engineer-turned-Product Manager
    in agile software delivery.
  • Strong
    software engineering background
    , ideally with hands-on experience in legacy
    Microsoft/Windows environments
    .
  • Experience in
    modernising older platforms
    , migrating or integrating with newer cloud or data technologies.
  • Solid understanding of
    dashboard development
    and data-focused product delivery.
  • Background working with or alongside public sector organisations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) highly desirable.
