We're seeking a Project Manager
About us
We're I Wish Merchandise, a young and fast-growing company founded in 2023. We have a deep passion for all things merchandise and a portfolio of iconic clients we are immensely proud to call our partners. These include The Walt Disney Company, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Disneyland Paris, Universal Pictures, and Netflix, to name a few.
We foster a supportive and diverse environment where individuality is celebrated, and "soft skills" are just as vital as technical ones. We're a high-functioning startup with big dreams, exciting prospects, and a focus on innovation and sustainability.
About the role
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of our projects. Acting as the bridge between our design, operations, and commercial teams, you'll oversee timelines, manage client expectations, and keep projects moving from concept to delivery with precision and care.
You'll be working across multiple projects — from promotional campaigns to retail product lines — ensuring that every detail is managed efficiently and every client experience reflects the high standards of our company and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinate between design, operations, sales, factories, and external partners to ensure flawless execution.
Manage manufacturing timelines from sampling through production and delivery, ensuring milestones are met and risks are identified early.
Oversee approvals, testing, and compliance processes, liaising with suppliers and third-party partners when needed.
Work closely with logistics teams and forwarders to plan and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
Maintain excellent project documentation and version control.
Support continuous improvement of workflow systems and operational processes.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in project management (preferably within consumer products, merchandise, or creative industries).
Solid understanding of the manufacturing process — from product development and sampling to mass production and shipment.
Familiarity with Far East production and sourcing, ideally with hands-on experience managing factories or suppliers.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in a small business environment is an advantage.
Extra (but not a must)
Strong grasp of logistics and shipping coordination, including critical path management and delivery timelines.
Experience working at a project management or procurement level with categories such as snow globes, metalware, homeware, puzzles, bags, or moulded resin items.
Soft Skills & Mindset
A genuine team player who collaborates well across departments.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to set priorities and communicate clearly with suppliers.
Able to remain calm under pressure and handle shifting deadlines gracefully.
A strong communicator with a solutions-first attitude.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and always looking for ways to improve processes.
Curious and eager to grow within a small, ambitious team.
Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic about what they do.
Why join us?
At I Wish, we're passionate about crafting merchandise that tells a story. You'll get to work with major global brands, contribute to exciting campaigns, and be part of a small but mighty team that values creativity, collaboration, and a touch of magic.
