The Opportunity

As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will ensure the successful delivery of on-site installation and engineering activities. The goal is clear: deliver high-quality work, on time and within budget, while maintaining exceptional safety and compliance standards.

You will lead electrical site teams, drive productivity, manage materials and equipment efficiently, and support strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. Your leadership will help ensure projects are delivered safely, to specification and aligned with operational targets.

Key Responsibilities


• Plan labour requirements in accordance with project programmes


• Issue work instructions, drawings and specifications to site teams


• Deliver safety inductions, ensure PPE compliance and manage workforce discipline


• Track productivity, conduct labour reviews and implement improvements


• Motivate and guide teams to achieve daily and weekly targets


• Requisition, control and optimise use of materials on site


• Verify delivery documentation and process returns for credit


• Separate and label non-compliant materials


• Plan plant and equipment needs through risk assessment and project staging


• Ensure all assets are compliant, certified and used safely


• Manage returns and replacements efficiently


• Coordinate and supervise daily site operations in line with company procedures


• Conduct and record site diaries, documentation, permits and reports


• Support cost control, variation identification and programme adherence


• Attend progress meetings and provide clear status updates


• Maintain quality assurance and zero-harm safety culture

Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes


• SJIB/JIB apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical installation


• Strong electrical installation and construction site experience


• Proven experience supervising labour teams and site resources


• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work


• Ability to identify and mitigate risks through strong safety leadership


• Commercial understanding and ability to support budget and productivity goals


• Effective communicator and team motivator


• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills


• Commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement


• Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to change
