Full job description

EPC Engineering & Manufacturing is currently seeking an experienced BV (Bureau Veritas) Welder to join our growing team. This position is based on-site in Middlesbrough, working on a range of high-quality fabrication and welding projects in accordance with Bureau Veritas (BV) standards and company specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations in accordance with Bureau Veritas (BV) standards and approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints
• Set up, maintain, and operate welding equipment safely
• Conduct visual and dimensional checks to ensure quality compliance
• Work collaboratively with the inspection team to meet BV and company requirements
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area and follow all site safety procedures
• Support general fabrication and fitting activities as required

Qualifications

• Valid BV (Bureau Veritas) Welder Certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar welding or fabrication role
• Competent in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes
• Strong understanding of materials, joint preparation, and inspection standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
