About The Role
We're looking for experienced
Wastewater Modellers
to join our dynamic and growing Water Consultancy team operating across the UK. You'll work on exciting AMP8 and AMP9 projects, ensuring exceptional water services in a collaborative environment.

Locations:
Edinburgh, Stepps, and Glasgow. We support flexible work to help you balance life and work, while encouraging collaboration. That's why hybrid working is our standard.

About Us
RPS, Tetra Tech are actively engaged in several long-term wastewater programmes across the UK water industry, helping our clients address major pollution and flooding challenges. As part of these programmes our wastewater consulting team undertake a broad range of projects including urban drainage and water quality modelling studies; WINEP, SOAF, DWMPs and catchment investment planning; and the development of engineering solutions from feasibility through to outline and detailed design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construct and maintain wastewater models.
  • Deliver feasibility studies and assessments for wastewater networks.
  • Develop wastewater solutions through outline and detailed design.
  • Ensure quality and compliance of modelling outputs.
  • Manage small projects and foster strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members for technical support.

What You Bring

  • Experience in urban drainage projects.
  • Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and GIS software (MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
  • Strong skills in Excel and Visual Basic.
  • Ability to handle large datasets and perform data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant technical field (postgraduate preferred).
  • Chartership or working towards it is a plus.
