Equipped with our cutting-edge Mustang 4WD Linked Dyno, we meticulously test vehicles to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, we offer fitting of upgraded performance parts and a range of services in our workshop. The owner has over 25 years experience in the industry and the team has a combined 90 years experience

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Automotive Performance business, where you'll work with our Sales team.

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Automotive Sales and Service Advisor to join our team.

As a key member of our customer service department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our valued clients.

This customer-facing position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of automotive services, and a genuine passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing friendly and professional assistance both in-person and over the phone. Address customer inquiries, provide quotes for services, and assist with scheduling appointments.

Quoting and Invoicing: Prepare accurate quotes for automotive services and parts, ensuring transparency and clarity for customers. Generate invoices and process payments in accordance with company procedures.

Parts Ordering: At times to liaise with manufacturers or distributors to procure necessary parts for vehicle repairs or maintenance. Manage inventory and ensure timely delivery of parts to meet service timelines.

Service Recommendations: Communicate effectively with customers regarding recommended services or repairs based on vehicle inspections or diagnostics. Educate customers on the benefits of recommended services and assist in selling additional services and parts as needed.

Sales: Work closely with the sales team to promote synergy between service offerings and sales opportunities. Coordinate efforts to maximise customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and product developments in the automotive sector. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills to provide the highest level of service to customers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to automotive service operations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
• A genuine interest and passion for the automotive world, with a desire to stay updated on industry advancements.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic small business environment.
