Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units according to specifications and plans.
• Construct walls, arches, and other structures using various types of masonry materials.
• Mix mortar and prepare surfaces for bricklaying.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
• Perform repairs on existing structures as needed.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including carpenters and roofers.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills

• Proficient in bricklaying techniques and masonry practices.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry work.
• Knowledge of carpentry principles is advantageous.
• Familiarity with roofing practices is a plus.
• Basic welding skills can be beneficial for certain projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings accurately.

Experience:

• Hod carrying : 5 years (required)
• Bricklaying: 5 years (preferred)
