About The Role
The Strategic Communications practice of FTI Consulting is one of the world's most highly regarded communications consultancies. We offer a broad base of disciplines across a variety of specialist sectors including healthcare & life sciences, financial services, retail and consumer, energy, real estate, professional services, and technology media telecoms.

We are currently looking for a Director with a background working in healthcare & life sciences Public Affairs and Strategic Communications to join our expanding Public Affairs team in London.
The Public Affairs team supports leading corporate organisations, professional services, governments and non-governmental organisations at a UK, regional and global level. Our healthcare & life sciences clients include top 10 pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, professional bodies and life science investors.

What You'll Do

Our Healthcare & Life Sciences Portfolio Is Growing And We Are Looking For a New Team Member Who Will Work Across Integrated Public Affairs And Strategic Communications Business, Including

  • Managing client accounts - building strong relationships with clients, managing the effective delivery of Public Affairs and Strategic Communications client programmes, and proactively identifying opportunities for organic business growth.
  • Supporting new business - developing responses to new client briefs, highlighting FTI's unique experience and expertise, and utilising your own connections in the healthcare & life sciences space to find new opportunities.
  • Building our healthcare & life sciences reputation - continuing to build our trusted reputation amongst clients and prospects in the healthcare & life sciences industry, and with our partners around the business.
  • Outside in-thinking - bringing fresh thinking and new approaches from your significant experience working within the healthcare & life sciences industry, and ideally of working within a consultancy role.
  • Team player - develop strong relationships within the Public Affairs team, and the broader Strategic Communications and FTI teams. Share knowledge, insights and experience with colleagues.
  • Commitment to delivering excellence everyday - delivering the highest standards of work every day and on every mandate.
