The Role
As part of our fast expanding Electric Vehicle (EV) business we are looking for an experienced and organised
Site Manager
to manage the day-to-day operations of our busy HV Battery Removal and Refit Facility in Long Bennington, North of Grantham. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of running a small operational site and be capable of managing people, processes, and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the facility.

EV experience is not essential for this role but would be an advantage.

Key Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the HV Battery Removal and Refit Facility, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Technicians and Operatives, ensuring effective task allocation and workflow management
  • Oversee the safe handling and movement of vehicles, HV batteries and associated components (training provided)
  • Report KPIs and performance metrics to the Senior Management Team, providing regular updates on output, quality, and safety
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation (job cards, inspections, process forms) is completed correctly for the site and all shifts
  • Present a positive image to all visiting customers, external and internal
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the facility

Requirements
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of managing a small facility for example garage, workshop, production or similar stand alone operation
  • Motivation to manage a small team of up to ten employees, with potential to grow in line with company ambitions
  • Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent) required
  • Job role will generally work on day shift, with flexibility to manage and support a 5 day 2 shift operation
