The project:
Mace is currently delivering framework support services to key clients within electricity transmission in the rapidly growing energy sector. This is an opportunity to work within a key client organisation to challenge the norm and work with them to change the current approach to how they procure and delivery works. We are looking for a senior project manager with a good understanding and experience of design coordination particularly in relation to civil and electrical works within energy distribution networks in general and HV substations in particular.

You'll Need To Have

  • Right to work which will need to be formally confirmed.
  • Appropriate experience working within the energy sector in general and HV electricity transmission and substations specifically.
  • Extensive experience in project establishment and setup of delivery and controls and processes.
  • Experience and understanding of compliance with regulatory and statutory duties.

You'll also have

  • Membership of MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS/MICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Energy/Electricity transmission sector.
  • Deep construction management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Directing and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
