Would you like to learn and develop the skills to support others based on your own lived experience and start your journey towards being a Peer Support Worker?
Recovery Partners are recruiting 5 adults living in the Sussex area, with lived experience of mental health challenges to complete a six-week, mental health peer support worker training course in early 2026.
These paid, online training roles offer successful candidates the opportunity to learn the required skills to work as a Peer Support worker.
- We are keen to hear from global majority applicants and younger applicants (aged 18-30)
- Successful candidates would be required to commit to one day per week for 6 weeks and complete weekly reflective logs.
- Successful candidates would be provided with extra online and in person facilitated groups and 1-1 support from Recovery Partners throughout the 6 weeks, as well as support in developing a careers pathway plan.
- There will be the opportunity for candidates to meet in person for in-person workshops, before, during and after the training period.
- Candidates must attend and complete the course and reflective log activities. Support will be provided throughout.
- Candidates must have reliable internet connections and be able to access Zoom.
Key Dates

- Notification of shortlisting – 26/11/25 If you do not hear from us by this date, your application will have been declined.
- In person, interviews will be held on Tuesday, December 2. Details of the venue will be issued with the shortlisting notification. If you have any access requirements or reasonable adjustments, please make this known in your application form.
- There are two options for attending the course: 6/1/26 - 10/2/26, or 17/2/26 - 27/3/26. We can't guarantee that you will be allocated your preferred option.
Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract
Pay: £15.09 per hour
Expected hours: Up to 12 hours per week
