Description

The Employment Solicitor will be responsible for:​

  • Developing and updating employment policies, procedures, and contracts.​
  • Managing disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards.​
  • Handling employment tribunal claims, including conducting advocacy.​
  • Providing training to internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of employment law.​
  • Monitoring and advising on changes in employment legislation.

Profile

The Employment Solicitor should be:​

  • A qualified solicitor or equivalent with 3+ years PQE.​
  • Experienced in handling respondent employment matters, ideally from retail clients.
  • Proficient in managing tribunal claims and ideally conducting advocacy but not essential. ​
  • Skilled in developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.​
  • Adept at delivering training and upskilling initiatives.
