Position Description Summary
Are you an ambitious investment researcher looking to advance your career in a dynamic and leading multi-asset business? NTAM's multi-asset team, with over $100 billion in assets under management, is a leader in asset allocation strategies designed for OCIO and Wealth Management clients across the globe. We seek a talented individual who is eager to apply quantitative techniques to solve complex investment problems and provide insightful investment recommendations across various asset classes. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct evidence-based research to support investment recommendations across a range of asset classes and regions.
  • Perform applied signal research, portfolio construction research, back-testing and risk assessment of new investment strategies & ideas
  • Collaborate with others to successfully complete complex quantitative and fundamental research projects
  • Become central point of contact to compile economic and financial market data including updating of charts and integrating new datasets.
  • Contribute towards the team's regular investment dialogue and provide investment recommendations.
  • Respond to requests from internal stakeholders in the form of sharing published research and data.
  • Maintain and further enhance a dashboard/database of asset allocation decisions over time; track and analyze decisions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of investments and the financial markets, usually acquired by a related degree, is required
  • Basic programming ability in languages such as Python, SQL
  • Knowledge of data platforms such as traditional RDBMS systems (Oracle, SQL) and cloud architectures
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI tools
  • Knowledge and insight into asset allocation strategies and methodologies

Experience

  • Degree in financial engineering, finance, economics or related field required
  • Relevant work experience preferred
  • 2-3 years experience in Investment Research role
