We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented
Accounting Technician
to join our dynamic Management Accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin or further develop their career in accounting, supported by a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

You'll work alongside qualified and experienced team members, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of accounting duties. Full training and support will be provided as you grow your knowledge and technical skills within a business that values high standards and timely delivery.

Your New Role

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:

  • Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Chasing outstanding invoices and ensuring timely authorisation
  • Managing monthly and ad hoc payment runs
  • Reviewing aged creditor files and resolving discrepancies
  • Handling employee expenses and petty cash
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Responding to supplier and client enquiries
  • Maintaining internal documentation and housekeeping tasks
  • Assisting in various administrative and technical tasks as needed
  • Supporting and providing cover for team members when required
  • Carrying out tasks as directed by the Senior Leadership Team

What will you need to succeed in this role?

As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:

  • Educated to a minimum of Higher Grade (or equivalent)
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong numeracy and IT skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Methodical and accurate approach to tasks
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related environment (desirable)
