The Role

We are looking for a skilled Analytics Analyst to join the versatile, and welcoming Procurement and Cost Control team. The role will be specifically looking holistically across the supply chain to support the business make more informed and data led decisions.

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the team with overall data management, interpreting data from a variety of sources and conducting detailed analysis, providing greater visibility of information as well as reporting and tracking to measure performance.

Analysis may include quick turnaround analysis, more considered analysis for strategic projects, a decision-making tool for the business to use or a Power BI report to visualise and track performance.

You will work closely with the Procurement and Cost Control team as well as collaborate cross-functionally working close with other departments.

You like resolving complex problems in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment, and are motivated to support business growth through data.  You are also interested in exploring new data sets that might not be fully productionised yet. You are curious and love learning.

Requirements

  • Generate insights from analysis to support strategic and tactical decisions and business initiatives
  • Own ad hoc analysis, helping the business understand and improve commercial performance.
  • Learn & understand how the business operates with specific focus on supply chain~ our suppliers, commercial drivers, business strategy and operations, and how to help decision-making with data
  • Work closely with colleagues across the organisation
  • Clean, transform and work with various, often imperfect, datasets including supplier, product, commercial and pricing and cost data.
  • Learn & develop Power BI reports that track and visualise data for the organisation
  • Advocate for improved data quality, working with the Data & Technology teams
  • Maintain the team's reputation for diligent work produced with integrity

  • Be a present and engaged team member, taking an active role in a small team's culture.
