Grace Lodge Nursing Home in Walton Vale, Liverpool 9 is looking for a part time book-keeper to work 14 hours per week over 2 days. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the finance director.

Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

  • Day to day running of accounting tasks
  • Enter all payments by BACS & cheques
  • Reconciling all bank accounts
  • Reconciling Sales & Purchase ledgers
  • Credit control of Sales accounts
  • Other adhoc duties as and when required

Essential experience and qualification criteria

  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Excellent all-round IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A-Level or equivalent
  • SAGE 50 – experience (advantage)
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Willingness to learn new skills and be flexible in your approach
  • Evidence of strong ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £14.44 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
