A small specialist SEN setting in Finchley is searching for an exceptional PE Teacher to support a small group of pupils with complex needs. This role begins immediately, providing vital continuity for students who depend on consistency, structure and positive relationships.
This is a real opportunity to provide truly tailored sessions to a small group of learners. With such a small cohort, you can shape PE around each pupil's individual needs, interests and emotional readiness. You will have the space to create meaningful routines, adapt sessions creatively and help pupils build confidence through physical activity. This is PE teaching where every moment counts and every interaction has purpose.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver creative, engaging and inclusive PE sessions
- Drive pupils to PE locations using the school car, with a practice run provided
- Build strong and trusting relationships with pupils who may present as dysregulated
- Support pupils with ADHD, autism, school refusal and social or emotional needs
- Create a structured, safe and encouraging learning environment
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Ability to drive with a valid licence
- Calm, patient and resilient approach to supporting vulnerable learners
- Reflective mindset with a commitment to ethical and child centred practice
- Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a very small specialist cohort
