We're growing fast and looking for a Field & Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Southampton.

What You'll Do:

  • Carry out vessel equipment surveys and produce technical reports.
  • Design and integrate onboard systems — computers, power, actuators, relays, sensors, propulsion and steering.
  • Develop system schematics and wiring layouts.
  • Support bench testing and hardware setup for software teams.
  • Configure and tune control algorithms during harbour and sea trials (HATs / SATs).
  • Participate in on-water validation campaigns and client demonstrations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware & software issues during field operations.

About You:

You're hands-on, curious, and excited by the idea of working on real autonomous vessels.

You'll need:

  • Degree or HND in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Systems Engineering.
  • 0 – 3 years' relevant experience (graduates welcome).
  • Practical skills in wiring, system integration, or hardware testing.
  • Willingness to travel (UK & abroad) and work on the water.
  • Full UK driving licence.
