Job Description

Press Office & Communications Executive

£30,000 plus bonus

A leading telecoms organisation is looking for a Press Office and Communications Executive to assist with building and maintaining the reputation of the organisation. The role will have a wide degree of impact externally and requires a creative thinker with excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. You will need extensive press experience and a suitable skill set including press release creation, social media, website content, events and crisis management. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious PR and communications professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for being the front line of the press office inbox and social channels
  • Assess all press enquiries
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to help manage and resolve press office enquiries
  • Prepare daily media monitoring reports
  • Maintain the online corporate communications channels
  • Provide support for the rest of the corporate comms team

Requirements:

  • Communications/press office experience, either agency side or in-house.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Content and social media management experience.
  • An interest in media and current affairs.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities.
