About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. You'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our customers, ensuring high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Complete multi-drop or trunking deliveries depending on the route.
  • Load and unload vehicles where required, ensuring goods are secured safely.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
  • Follow all transport regulations, tachograph laws, and company procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid CPC card and digital tachograph card.
  • Previous experience in a Class 2 driving role preferred (newly qualified drivers may be considered).
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks and driver hours regulations.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling (where required).
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
  • Overnights occasionally

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Blackburn: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • class 2: 1 year (required)
  • driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver CPC (required)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
