Conveyancing Paralegal

We're seeking an organised, proactive and confident Conveyancing Paralegal with experience supporting fee earners in residential property transactions. You'll have a solid understanding of the conveyancing process, be comfortable preparing legal documentation, and be able to manage your workload across multiple files. Strong communication skills, accuracy and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 DOE

Hours: Full time (6-month fixed-term contract)

Location: Bracknell

What you'll do

• Prepare, draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, leases, completion statements and Land Registry forms.
• Produce letters and documents through digital dictation or as instructed by fee earners.
• Support with Land Registry applications and obtain relevant title documents.
• Assist with lender panel requirements, mortgage offers and source of funds/wealth checks.
• Help with billing processes, SDLT returns and post-completion tasks.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents and other parties to ensure smooth progression of files.
• Prepare quotations, open new files and manage client onboarding including AML and CDD checks.
• Maintain accurate and well-organised case files, ensuring all correspondence and documentation is uploaded promptly.
• Carry out basic legal research to support fee earners.
• Assist with transferring funds, processing payments and recording disbursements on client ledgers.
• Provide general administrative support including managing post, photocopying, filing and handling messages.
• Take part in the team rota for banking and posting duties.
