We're now looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at our Stockport location, delivering outstanding quality and consistency across every plate.

The Role

As Head Chef, you'll oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development to staff management , ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dishes
  • Oversee all kitchen operations including prep, service, and stock control
  • Create, develop, and refine menus in line with the P. Louise brand vision
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Manage kitchen budgets, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
  • Work closely with the management team to deliver a seamless customer experience

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy kitchen
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A passion for creative, visually stunning, and flavourful food
  • Excellent understanding of kitchen management, food safety, and cost control
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods
