Role Summary
Based at Firth Road, Lincoln (TMUK Lincoln), this hands-on role sits within our Operations Team and works closely with Procurement and Supply Chain. You will analyze current customer sales orders and demand to guide and influence supply chain operations. Using business intelligence and forecasting information from the sales function, you will create and maintain top‑level scheduling in our ERP system (SAP HANA).
You will lead weekly cross-functional meetings to ensure customer demand is adhered to, building plans and forecasts that consider supplier capability and lead times, operational skill levels, and inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Track material inventory.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of the sales order book and forecasts.
- Collect data from internal and external sources on factors known to influence demand.
- Obtain information on potential demand impacts such as technical issues and production annual leave.
- Gather purchasing data that can affect demand.
- Develop demand plans for top-level products and agree feasibility with production leads.
- Use and maintain the company's ERP system (SAP HANA).
- Provide input to the purchasing team to develop and execute inventory strategies for material procurement.
What We're Looking for in You
- Skilled in forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
- Relevant experience and/or qualifications in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Logistics.
