We have opportunities available for Bank Healthcare Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team. Although an existing relevant qualification would be an advantage it isn't compulsory and all training will be provided. The pay rates shown are dependant on qualification and experience. All training is provided.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a Bank (zero hours) position where you will be helping to cover absences and holidays, sometimes at short notice, including weekends, evenings and nights. Therefore, we would appreciate applicants giving careful consideration to their flexibility and availability before applying.

Shift Times you may be expected to cover:

  • Days 07:45 - 20:00
  • Night 19:45 - 20:00
  • short shift 1 -07:45 - 14:00
  • short shift 2 - 14:00 - 20:00

  • The ability to be flexible, as a bank employee you will be helping to cover periods of absence of permanent staff, sometimes at short notice.

What you can expect your duties to include (this list is an example and not an exhaustive list of duties):

  • Supporting and/or enabling residents with activities of daily living (including washing, dressing, feeding, mobilising), following their individual care plans
  • Escorting residents on arranged medical or social trips
  • General day to day social interaction, enabling and encouraging independence where possible
  • Recording both yours and the residents activities accurately and in a timely manner using our Care Management app, Log My Care (devices provided for this purpose)
  • Promoting and maintaining at all times the resident's privacy, choice, personal dignity, independence and comfort.
