Early Years Practitioner

We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our busy day nursery, located in Darwen.
We are open 52 weeks of the year, 7am-6pm, so are looking for someone who is flexible to work all year round between business hours. A usual shift would be 8.5 hours during the day.
The ideal candidate would hold a level 3 qualification within the Early Years and have previous experience of working within a nursery. First aid / food hygiene qualifications can be gained once employed with us. We offer opportunities for further training and certification to support the job role.
We are looking for someone who is familiar with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Development Matters to be able to plan fun activities around the 7 areas of learning and to track the children's development.
Interviews will be held at the nursery and a trial will also be offered before a final decision is made.
Enhanced DBS checks will be completed, once a candidate has been chosen.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
