Systems Engineer – Digital Systems & Validation (Energy & Electrification)

Join a cross-functional Energy and Electrification Solutions team as a Systems Engineer, where you'll play a key role in defining and validating digital systems that support customer operations, internal logistics, and product planning. This role involves close collaboration with digital NPI teams and stakeholders across engineering, operations, supply chain, electronics, sales, marketing, and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-level system boundary diagrams covering on-board controllers, telematics, platform components, and applications
  • Lead Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for digital systems
  • Create and align validation plans with subject matter experts
  • Document and gain consensus on test strategies
  • Support simulation-based testing and validation of failure modes

Key Requirements:

  • Background in product or service development
  • Experience with digital delivery (e.g. IT, software development, or engineering data)
  • Strong prioritisation, planning, and organisational skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive solutions
  • Familiarity with telematics, cloud computing, analytics, or application development
  • Proven ability to analyse and improve complex systems and processes
