Senior NHS Customer Relations Manager

Category: Corporate Affairs

Location:London, London, GB

Are you passionate about building strong, strategic partnerships that shape the future of healthcare? At Novo Nordisk, we're driving change to defeat diabetes and chronic diseases — and we know that collaboration across the NHS is key to making a real difference.

We're looking for a Senior Customer Relations Manager to develop and implement national multi-stakeholder programmes that build and strengthen partnerships with top-tier NHS stakeholders and key influencers across the healthcare community.

This is a field-based role, offering flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK, with regular travel to support meetings, events, and engagement activities nationwide.

Your new role

As a Senior NHS Customer Relations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Novo Nordisk's NHS engagement strategy. You'll work with some of the most influential individuals and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the Diabetes Community — building strong, trusted relationships that support our shared goal of improving patient outcomes and advancing NHS collaboration.

You will:

  • Shape strategy: Design and implement a national plan to engage Top Tier NHS Stake-holders and KOLs, aligned with corporate objectives and NHS priorities.
  • Build partnerships: Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with high-profile healthcare professionals, influencers, and key NHS decision-makers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Government & Public Affairs, and Communications teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution excellence.
  • Deliver execution excellence: Develop and execute tactical engagement plans — from one-to-one meetings to large-scale events — to foster meaningful dialogue and advocacy.
  • Drive insight and innovation: Analyse NHS trends and insights to identify new opportunities and strengthen strategic partnerships.
  • Champion advocacy: Promote our values and brands through impactful storytelling, relationship-building, and mobilising advocacy among top-tier influencers.
  • Be the key point of contact: Serve as the trusted liaison for high-profile NHS stakeholders and healthcare professionals, providing dedicated support and maintaining ongoing engagement.

Your new department

You will be part of the NHS Commercial team, a dynamic and collaborative group dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Based in a fast-paced and supportive environ-ment, the team works closely to ensure high-quality standards and customer satisfaction. To-gether, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the healthcare industry by providing superior customer engagement and quality management services.

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for a confident and strategic relationship builder who excels at influencing and connecting with senior healthcare leaders. You'll have proven experience in relationship management, ideally within the NHS or pharmaceutical industry, as well as:

  • A strong understanding of the UK healthcare system and NHS landscape.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in project and event management.
  • A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach to a fast-paced environment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • ABPI certification (mandatory requirement).

You will also demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to compliance, adhering to our ethics, ABPI, and all relevant industry standards.
