Laser Vision is a leading private ophthalmic organisation delivering high-quality refractive, cataract, and specialist ophthalmic treatments across Hampshire and Surrey. We pride ourselves on offering a premium patient experience in our flagship state-of-the-art facilities and are now recruiting a highly skilled Optometrist to join our growing clinical team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Optometrist with a strong interest in refractive and cataract care to take on a senior clinical role within a fast-growing private service. You will work closely with our consultant surgeons and multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care, lead optometrist-only clinics, and contribute to ongoing service development and innovation.

The Role

You will:

· Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative assessments for refractive and cataract patients.

· Perform, analyse, and interpret advanced diagnostic tests, including OCT, Anterion, topography, and biometry.

· Provide technical clinical support, including IOL selection and treatment planning.

· Run autonomous optometrist-led clinics when surgeons are off-site.

· Lead on dry eye services, including IPL, and meibomian gland expression.

· Conduct contact lens assessments and teaching where required.

· Train and support administrative staff, HCSWs and contact lens opticians.

· Contribute to clinical governance, incident reviews, audits, and quality improvement projects.

· Support service development, new technologies, and pathway improvements across the Prema Group.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

· A GOC-registered Optometrist with substantial post-qualification experience.

· Confident in refractive surgery pathways, cataract workups, and advanced diagnostics.

· Able to work autonomously and lead optometrist-only clinics.

· A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.

· Passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, premium private healthcare environment.

Desirable experience includes:

· Experience in refractive or laser vision correction clinics.

· Experience supporting surgeons with IOL planning and consent.

· Experienced in dry eye management (e.g., IPL, gland expression).
