About The Job
We're on the lookout for a passionate and proactive
Retail Helpdesk Administrator
to join our team in a fast-paced, hands-on role. This six-month secondment is ideal for someone keen to broaden their experience, take on a fresh challenge, and make a meaningful impact. You'll be the go-to support for our store colleagues and field managers—resolving queries, offering guidance, and helping things run smoothly.

A good sense of humour, a genuine passion for outstanding customer service, and a warm, approachable manner will go a long way in this role.

This role is based at our Support Centre just off Junction 41 on the M1 with occasional flexibility for some hybrid working.

What You'll Be Getting Up To:
You'll be the first point of contact on the Retail Helpdesk—responding to queries from store colleagues and field managers, resolving Retail Tickets within agreed SLA timeframes, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll handle incoming calls, offer clear guidance, and direct callers to the right place with professionalism and care. When you're covering reception, you'll switch gears to greet visitors with warmth and enthusiasm, manage access through the entrance barrier and front door, and help create a welcoming, secure environment. Whether you're supporting colleagues remotely or face-to-face, it's all about creating a great first impression and living our values every day.

What We're Looking For
We're after someone who thrives in a fast-paced, flexible environment and brings energy, professionalism, and a can-do attitude to the team. Ideally, you'll have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a confident, friendly approach
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
  • A team-focused mindset, self-motivation, and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Smart presentation and clear communication skills, with the ability to liaise across all channels

Experience in retail or reception roles is a bonus—but if you've got the right attitude, we'll give you all the training you need.
