Provide a high standard of administrative support across outpatients, inpatients and radiology/diagnostics to ensure all relevant bookings processes and pathways are upheld, delivering high quality service to all of service users at all times Consistently liaise with Finance team to accurately quote self-pay private care episodes and to ensure that private medical insurance cover is authorised for insured patients. Use prioritisation and negotiation skills proactively manage requests to ensure that urgent and inpatient requests are actioned within the necessary. Whenever needed, the post holder will liaise with private medical insurance companies and communicate clinical details regarding patients to facilitate and secure financial cover and funding for the care episode. Manage shared inboxes, handling all queries, bookings and ad-hoc requests; ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely efficient manner and communication to stakeholders is clear.

Answer telephone calls/emails and deal with enquiries in a helpful and courteous manner, use initiative and discretion or direct the call to the appropriate staff member.
