The Role:
We are seeking a visionary Artistic Director & Venue Manager to command both the creative and operational heartbeat of our club. You will produce shows from conception to delivery, curate unforgettable jazz performances, and manage every aspect of our venue's operation with precision and flair. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of artistry, hospitality, and commercial excellence.
Your Mission:
- Artistic Vision: Conceive, script, and deliver immersive jazz experiences that captivate and inspire. Collaborate with performers, production teams, and creative partners to craft shows that leave audiences mesmerized.
- Operations Mastery: Oversee daily operations, ensuring world-class service, food, and cocktails. Manage staff across bar, kitchen, and front-of-house to maintain impeccable standards.
- Elite Talent Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead top-tier bar and kitchen talent. Inspire a culture of excellence, precision, and creativity in every aspect of the venue.
- Commercial Acumen: Monitor budgets, manage inventory, and maintain commercial awareness to ensure sustainable, profitable operations.
- Booking & Systems Management: Oversee booking systems and event schedules, ensuring seamless coordination of all performances, private events, and reservations.
- Guest Experience: Ensure every customer interaction—from cocktails to cuisine to service—is flawless, consistently exceeding expectations.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing and PR teams to elevate the club's profile, making it Lincoln's most coveted nightlife destination.
Who You Are:
- A proven leader with experience in artistic direction and venue management in jazz, live music, or immersive theatre.
- A master of producing shows from concept to delivery, with attention to detail at every stage.
- Commercially aware, capable of balancing creative vision with profitable operations.
- Experienced in managing booking systems and coordinating complex schedules.
- Passionate about high standards in food, cocktails, and service, inspired by the glamour of 1930s New York.
- A dynamic communicator, motivator, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and during events.
