Finance Manager

37 hours per week, term time including Inset days, plus an additional 2 weeks to be worked during school holidays.

This is a permanent role based on site.

Salary Range: £60,923 to £66,462 per annum depending on experience (calculated pro rata from £66,000 to £72,000)

Hazelwick School is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead on all aspects of finance and premises administration across the school.

The successful candidate will be a member of the school's Senior Leadership Team, taking responsibility for the strategic and operational management of a £15 million annual budget, reporting directly to the Headteacher.

The Finance Manager leads the Finance and Premises teams, oversees a range of external contractors, and ensures the efficient use of financial resources. The role is key to ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and guidance, and ensuring the school remains financially stable.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified accountant with a strong track record in financial management, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively. You will be confident in managing complex budgets and driving value for money. A flexible, hands-on approach is essential. Experience within a school setting and the management of service agreements or contracts is desirable but not essential.
