TARCG is delighted to be supporting a leading international defence organisation on their search for an MS Dynamics Developer to join their team on a 6-12 month contract.

In this role you will be working at the core of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment, designing, customising, and optimising solutions that support critical business processes. You'll take ownership of development, integrations, automation, and technical enhancements across D365 F&O and the Power Platform, ensuring high-quality delivery throughout the full implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities


• Configure and customise Dynamics 365 F&O using X++, C#, and extension models.


• Contribute to all phases of the D365 implementation lifecycle.


• Build and maintain integrations using Power Automate, Dataverse, virtual tables, and RESTful APIs.


• Develop automated workflows and low-code applications (Power Apps).


• Enhance D365 modules through custom development and adherence to coding standards.


• Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.


• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and third-line support.


• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.


• Support UAT and contribute to continuous system improvement.

Skills & Experience Needed


• Proven experience developing and supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.


• Strong proficiency in X++, C#, and integration patterns.


• Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).


• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, virtual tables, and D365 integration techniques.


• Proficiency with Visual Studio, LCS, UDE, and PPAC.


• Understanding of extension models, upgrade strategies, and coding best practices.


• Experience across full ERP lifecycle delivery.


• Strong documentation, testing, and UAT skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.


• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
