Hospital Director - Rehabilition

We are seeking a Hospital Director with a clinical background. Due to the nature of the role, we are open to considering individuals who are looking to step into a leadership position.

This modern, purpose-built rehabilitation hospital in Walsall provides both level 1 and 2 care for adults with severe, complex and enduring mental health needs - often those living with treatment-resistant conditions. Rated "Good" in all areas by the CQC, the service has a proud reputation for its safe, therapeutic environment and its compassionate, skilled team.

You would be responsible overseeing the overall management and strategic direction of the hospital, ensuring smooth functioning across departments.

Requirements
:

  • Extensive experience at a senior level, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with operational and financial planning experience.
  • Experience managing commercial accountability, including cost control and financial performance.
  • Ability to make informed decisions in challenging circumstances.
  • Experience leading diverse teams.
  • Strong managerial and leadership background, with expertise in healthcare service development.
  • Demonstrated track record of innovation and improving operational performance.
