About the Role

We are looking for an organised Warehouse Operative to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate must have some experience within a warehouse role. The suitable candidate will need to have a strong work ethic and be able to communicate confidently at all levels while working in a busy warehouse.

The role is supportive and will include the following responsibilities but are not limited;

General tasks

  • To pre-pick upcoming install jobs.
  • To operate forklift to unload/load delivery vehicles and to book in/out on our ERP system any incoming deliveries of stock.
  • To return unused stock to correct warehouse location.
  • To report any defects on warehouse equipment to the Warehouse Team Leader.
  • To maintain a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness in both the warehouse and outside yard areas.
  • To assist the Warehouse Team Leader to maintain accurate stock levels of all materials using ERP.
  • To take ownership of warehouse problems and find solutions as a team.
  • Any reasonable requests from other areas within the business
  • Test equipment if necessary before it leaves the warehouse.

Essential Skills

  • Warehouse experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
  • IT literate; Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Reach and Counterbalance FLT Licences.
  • Working on your own initiative
  • Flexibility
